Filipina denotes to a Filipino women though born in Philippines and were raised in different part of the world, still have what it takes to be a Filipina. Trademarks are quite perceivable, just like of having black hair, a bit dark skin and natural charm. As far as distinction is concern, there are still a lot of things to consider. For these trademarks are not enough to fully understand Filipina's worth ---of being conservative, kind-hearted, respectful and made-for-home. For all these, ceaselessly and abruptly evolve as time and the entire world demand so.
Filipina were once molded into the world they are in today ---Philippines. Before, they were known for such attributes given then, but that was several years ago. (what time is it now??) We are now in a world associated with a lot of changes and contagions or of reactions and inhabitants that easily spread. We change in accordance to the need and demands of our environment. We used to condescend what is currently in, idolize stars and even follow their lifestyle, yet all these happen for a reason.
It is absolutely true that there is nothing wrong in doing what is right. (Right?) This might be the right time to straighten out misconceptions to every Filipina;
- from having no fredom during early years, they strived to have such. Until they became open-minded and witty to such life's setback, and so history will never repeats iteslf
- from buttoned-down and conservative mind, they tend to be liberated at times. Sometimes each of us needs to detach to yesteryears and old ways of living to let oneself grow, though it means a little big change.
- from being timid and unsure, they turned out to be bold and outspoken. For this might be the possible reason of having freedom and right to speak, and though there's such thing as silence; it's not right to be silent at all.
- from having a little guts and a bit weak personality, time molded them to be strong and confident. Something that are indeed valuable in one's journey, for hardships are the so called in disguise motivation and opprtunity toward triumphs of every Filipina.
See, how mostly Filipina won over such defeats in their life. For all those struggles complete their worth on earth, ---from a little girl who used to be vulnerable and new to life's challenges, they bloom on their way to a young women, until they were called to engage in their parenthood to their moment of old age and grand parenthood. Filipina will always be Filipina at heart inspite of little big changes that somehow and truly contributes to Filipina's worth and being.
